Mad Panic!
Jul. 20th, 2005 05:31 pmIt was a mad panic at work today. I have to dash to the Bendigo office tommorow to sort out a problem they have up there. Its the first time ive ever been there (in the two years I have worked at this company) Today was spent maddly sorting out what I need to take and making sure the local end was sorted out.
After Continuum I decided to get my self a copy of some steampunk to see what it was all about. I was told that China Mieville was "definitive". I went to Borders last night to see what I could find and picked up "Perdido Street Station" off the shelf. Then I got a really strange sense of De Ja Vu. the cover looked REALLY familiar. I put the book down and kept looking.
This evning when I walked back in from work I looked on my bookshelf and on my pile of "Too Read" books I found "Perdido Street Station" Guess thats a good sign to stop buying books untill I have read the ones I have!
