Terms for a relationship

A friend pointed out the following to me:

You know there are very distinct phases in relationships.
Friends, Boyfriend/Girlfriend, engaged, married, divorced, dead.
There is also seeing someone, a sexual relationship with no committment.
Then there is the new PC term, partner. Which was the gay way of saying, I'm living with and sleeping with this same sex person, in manner that was not invasive to people.

Ahh lunch time

Lunch Time. Its a REALLY loverly 24c outside in Richmond and I sat in the park for lunch.

Hmm... Theres usually more to look at, at lunch time. Today it was sadly quiet.

WINE WINE WINE

I went to the local Quaffers(1) this evning and brought half a dozen bottles of various Reds. Mainly shirazs. This is Christmas lunch and New Years eve supply.

I also brought a bottle of vodka that I had been meaning to buy for a while.

(1) Large Alcohol supermarket over on the hill. If its alcohol they (probably) have it (2)
(2) Except when its bulk pure ethanol
