I went to the local Quaffers(1) this evning and brought half a dozen bottles of various Reds. Mainly shirazs. This is Christmas lunch and New Years eve supply.

I also brought a bottle of vodka that I had been meaning to buy for a while.

(1) Large Alcohol supermarket over on the hill. If its alcohol they (probably) have it (2)
(2) Except when its bulk pure ethanol

You know, I thought about checking for it, but forgot. By the time I got back to lookinng at spirits I had an armload of bottles which was getting quite heavy.

I do however have a bottle I brought back from Munich last year that I have been meaning to drink, However I need to get the steel sieve and the sugar cubes to drink it properly.

There's some nice cab merlots and other bordeaux's floating around atm. 2001 seems like an alright year, I've been unimpressed by a 1999 and impressed by a 2002 though so...
