Okay, So most people have said YES to having drinks at a bar somewhere. Can people suggest a location and times when ARENT good?
Im not good at chooseing places to eat!

Anybody and everybody is welcome though....

Once we work out a WHERE I will work out a WHEN. the next week during the week isnt too good and this Friday night and the following one arent brilliant either but possibly the following friday night?

Maybe you want to clarify your "following one" with dates. The way I read it your Friday is the Friday of Continuum (so I'll be busy :-P)

My Fridays are always busy, so no good. Wednesdays I'm busy as well generally though can be change occasionally. Pick another day!

If you are talking about the ex and current Connectoids meeting up then a Friday is always good for me and if you mean the 11th August then thats also a good day for me.

There is a really nice bar just near where you work.

Across the road from the train station on Swan Street is a bar called Holliava. They don't do food, but you can get food delivered there and there is a Thai restuarant next door. It is quite cute. It is roomy, with comfy lounges, and church pews as well as an open fire. I don't go out much anymore, but I got taken there a week ago, and I loved it :)

Judging by the photos on their website (http://www.holliava.com.au/index2.htm), which is totally useless to people who can't use Flash, Holliava sounds like it's worth a try. Furniture with Earthy colours, a selection of drinks including Mountain Goat, and the ability to bring in dinner.

Fri 11th is fine with me and other dates and venues should also be okay, if I have a little notice.
