Saturday I spent re leveling the floor in my house. One of the stumps appears to have sunk 20mm and it was really noticable at the back in the kitchen. Lidted the house 10mm and the whole thing looks a whole lot more respectable.

I watched my lawn and garden wilt the othe week when it was stinking hot. I realised there was no way I was going to keep remembering to water the garden the night before hot weather, So on thursday night i decided to install a watering system.

Thats the sort thats 20mm black poly pipe burried in the ground. Brought a controller and valves for the front and back, includiung all the pipe at sprays for under $300. Its surprisingly cheap.

I spent sunday and today digging trenches in the back garden and putting in the pipes and valves. The back is all done now just the front to go.

Only Two emergencies.
1) dug through a storm water pipe. This was reasonably easy to repair. My dad fixed that in 10 minutes.
2) The copper spinkler tree that i made had a very weak weld on it that popped after i had cleaned up and had a shower for the day, so there was water everywhere. I had to race out with the welder and make some emergency repairs.

The other problem is blisters. at the moment I am typeing one handed because the other one is in a bucket of detol to try and kill any bugs that may be in the dirty blisters. (the skin tore open)

Tommorow I attack the front garden beds and the Wednesday I go back to work. Im ignoreing all work calls at the moment. Caller ID I loveth you.
