Parking Tickets
May. 6th, 2005 06:00 pmBAH!... City Of Melbourne SUCKS
I just got a "Courtesy Letter FINAL NOTICE" in the mail saying I had an unpaid parking ticket.
IT seems that the night I went to Dave Callan (24th March) I got a parking ticket. Only thing was, when I got back to the car there was no ticket on it, AND the sign was NOT a Loading ZOne, as it Claims. Im going to drive past the spot later tonight to check but im pretty certain it was a ligitimate parking spot.
The location was Londsale street oposite the age building theres a couple of car spaces down near spencer street that are loading bay untill 6:30pm or something (and parking from then on).
So, If it IS a dodgey ticket, do I:
1) Just pay it,
2) Contest it in court? There dosnt seem to be a way to write a polite letter pointing out the error of their ways (assume it wass their error)
Im pretty pissed off because it means one of a few things:
1) the site wss badly labeled
2) sombody pulled the ticket off my car
BAH!.. not happy.
